About UsThe goal of the Police Explorer Program is to teach young adults the values needed to succeed in a law enforcement career.
The Prince George’s County Police Explorer Program is designed to introduce young adult men and women 14 to 20 years of age who are interested in learning more about law enforcement and/or interested in pursuing a career in law enforcement. The program is designed to provide law enforcement training and experience to the Explorer through mentoring, classroom instruction, and hands-on training. |

Our History |
We are proud to announce that we just celebrated our 40th year of Law Enforcement Exploring within Prince George's County in 2016. Over those 40 years, we are honored to have taken part of the lives of our explorers and can say that we have been successful in developing these young men and women into successful Law Enforcement Officers as well as instilled great qualities into our explorers who decided on a different career path.
